  1. This is the 6th public release version of Miami.
  2.  
  3.  
  4. NOTE: This archive Miami20a.lha is identical to the previous archive
  5.       Miami20.lha except that the NewIcons icon has been fixed.
  6.  
  7.  
  8. Although Miami can be used without prior installation it is
  9. recommended that you use the inclosed Installer script to
  10. properly install Miami.
  11.  
  12. After that do the following:
  13.  
  14.  - For serial connections (SLIP/PPP) start MiamiInit and follow
  15.    the instructions to configure your link. For other connections
  16.    (Ethernet/Arcnet etc.) start MiamiInitSANA2 and follow the
  17.    instructions to configure your link.
  18.  
  19.  - Start Miami and import the settings from MiamiInit or MiamiInitSANA2.
  20.  
  21.  - If you are using Miami in a local network that is NOT connected to
  22.    the Internet: on the TCP/IP page disable "dynamic hostname" and
  23.    type in the hostname manually.

  25.  - Save the settings

  27.  - Click on "Online".

  31. If you have had problems with beta versions of Miami you should
  32. run MiamiInit again and re-import the resulting config file into
  33. Miami.
